Simon Bolton
Ogilvy-trained brand builder turned Executive Coach and NED, splitting time between Sweden and Spain.
Surprisingly, I started professional life as a chef but quickly escaped below stairs to become a graduate trainee in advertising. Trained by Ogilvy, I seemed to focus on building trusted relationships with international clients that start with the letter A: Avon, Air Canada, American Express, Autodesk, AT&T, Absolut and Amazon.com are some of the businesses that have taken me all over the world - living and working in Asia, Europe and USA. Having built agencies in these markets, I was asked to lead famous Brand and Design networks for WPP. I now split my time between Sweden and Spain, working as an Executive Coach using the Corestar platform and additionally hold three NED board positions.

Mike Walsh
Three decades in brand strategy and comms, from Ogilvy Africa to chairing the UK Disasters Emergency Committee.
I started preparing myself for today with an apprenticeship of more than three decades in brand strategy & comms, working on some of the world’s most iconic brands: American Express, Nestle, Guinness, Ford. In that time, I was a key architect of the Ogilvy Brand Stewardship Programme, later Harvard’s best-selling case study, and went on to help found the award-winning Ogilvy Africa network. I’ve taken on major leadership roles in the charity sector, including helping to unify the British Red Cross and chairing the UK Disasters Emergency Committee. I’ve also taken on the role as VP Business Development for Velti, a global marketing company installing and developing the first ever Click and Collect programme in the UK for Argos. So now I’m ready for all the pleasure and the pain of helping to launch a truly innovative & inspiring start-up. In parallel, I’m an active charity participant. As Deputy Chair of the British Red Cross had the role presenting at the National Presidents Conference why we had dissolved the 42 independently audited branches to create one unified society. Then as Chair of the UK DEC coping with the distribution of half a billion pounds of Tsunami donations followed by 11 separate disasters in the next 5 years. Currently Deputy Chair of a national addiction charity VIA and Chair of a local Healthcare Trust.
